Dear Cavalier Families and Community,

It is with great excitement that I rejoin the Krueger Family to serve as the new Associate Principal. I am a proud graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and Lamar University. For the past 18 years, I have had the privilege of serving the Northside School District in the roles of Behavior Support Teacher, Early Childhood Teacher, Collaborative Teacher, and Special Education Campus Coordinator.

I feel extremely fortunate to again be able to work alongside this wonderful community and to be able to play a role in supporting the staff, students, and families. One of my strongest beliefs is that students belong at the center of all school-related decisions and the relationships between teachers, administrators, and families are vital to the success of our students and our school. I look forward to this school year as we continue to foster and nurture the learning experience for all students.

Let’s Go, Cavaliers!!

-Mrs. Lakey.
