Krueger will foster and nurture the learning experience for all students. Every day, every student grows in confidence, curiosity, and capability.
It is with great excitement that I rejoin the Krueger Family to serve as the new Principal. I am a proud graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and Lamar University. For the past 21 years, I have had the privilege of serving the Northside School District in the roles of Behavior Support Teacher, Early Childhood Teacher, Collaborative Teacher, and Special Education Campus Coordinator.
I feel extremely fortunate to again be able to work alongside this wonderful community and to be able to play a role in supporting the staff, students, and families. One of my strongest beliefs is that students belong at the center of all school-related decisions and the relationships between teachers, administrators, and families are vital to the success of our students and our school. I look forward to this school year as we continue to foster and nurture the learning experience for all students.
Letโs Go, Cavaliers!!

Dear Parents and Guardians,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Stephanie Ontiveros and I am honored to serve as the new Associate Principal at Krueger Elementary. I am excited to partner with you and this exceptional school community to ensure every student has a positive, safe, and successful school experience.
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Arts in Educational Management, both from the University of HoustonโClear Lake. The 2026โ2027 school year marks my 12th year in education. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to serve in a variety of roles, including History teacher, Special Education teacher, Department Coordinator, Administrative Intern, Assistant Principal, Testing Coordinator, and Section 504 Coordinator. These diverse experiences have strengthened my commitment to supporting students, collaborating with educators, and building positive relationships with families.
On a personal note, I am originally from the Houston area but have proudly called San Antonio home since 2022. My husband and I have a young daughter who keeps us on our toes and brings so much joy to our lives. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time outdoors, listening to audiobooks, and making memories with my family.
My educational philosophy centers on creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. I pride myself on building trusting relationships (at every level) and believe that a solid partnership between school and home is vital to student success.
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or ideas you may have. I look forward to a fantastic school year filled with growth, learning and success.
Respectfully,
Stephanie Ontiveros
Associate Principal
