Portrait of Associate Principal Traci Contreras
Traci Contreras - Principal
Greetings Locke Hill Lions! My name is Traci Contreras, and I am the Proud Principal of Locke Hill Elementary. Originally, I am from the east coast and grew up in Ocean City, Maryland. After moving to San Antonio in 2000, I taught 4th and 5th grade for six years for Southside ISD and then joined Northside ISD as a fifth grade teacher at Hatchett Elementary in 2006 for one year and then moved to Ott Elementary where I spent 13 years as a 5th grade teacher. I became the administrator intern at Boone Elementary School in 2019 and was named the Vice-Principal of Locke Hill Elementary School in 2020 . I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (1-8) from Salisbury University in 2000 and a Master of Education in Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2018. I have two daughters who are in college and an infant son recently born in the summer of 2023. I am beyond thrilled to be a part of the Locke Hill family and look forward to continuing to build relationships with the students, staff, parents, and community members.

Hello Locke Hill Lions!

It is with great joy that I have the privilege to introduce myself as the Associate Principal of Locke Hill.

My name is David Loredo and I am entering my twenty-first year in education. I began my career teaching high school math for 16 years. For the last 4 years I have been an elementary associate principal with South San Antonio ISD.

I am from San Antonio where I got my Bachelors in Mathematics at UTSA (2006) and my Masters in Administration at Texas A&M San Antonio (2014).

I am married to my beautiful wife of 12 years and have two boys who are 9 and 6. We love camping, hiking and spending summers at the beach.

I look forward to getting to know our community and providing a safe enriching educational environment for all our students. Please do not hesitate to contact me for any reason at david.loredo@nisd.net or at 210-397-1600.

Go Lions!
