Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year Martin family!
This will be my 30th year in education and my 16th year in Northside. We understand that many of our families are feeling a lot of anxiety about our return to school. We’ve been working very hard all summer to ensure that our return to school is as safe as it can possibly be for our teachers and our students. Together we can overcome our biggest challenge and surpass the greatest expectations. If you have any questions as we move forward please do not hesitate to contact us.

Hello Martin Engineer Families, Students and all Community Members!

My name is Mariela Mayte Martinez and I am your proud Associate Principal!
I am so excited and honored to continue working with all our students, staff and community to help our students succeed and reach their goals. I have taught 2nd and 3rd grade, been a math specialist and the administrator intern here at Martin Elementary. I obtained my Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Bilingual Certification and Masters in Educational Leadership from The University of Texas at San Antonio.

At Martin Elementary, we believe all our students can and will do great things! It is our priority that all students receive a high quality education, feel safe at school and feel empowered to achieve their goals. Please know I am here for you anytime you need anything.

Together, we WILL make this another wonderful and successful year here at Martin Elementary! Choo Choo!
