Robotics is an enrichment program for fourth and fifth grade students. The purpose of Robotics is to provide students the opportunity to solve real-world problems. With the guidance of two coaches, the Robotics team, known as the ROBOrunners, apply science, technology, engineering, and math concepts to design, build, and program an EV3 robot Students must also conduct research and propose an innovative solution to a problem. This amazing journey leads students to develop 21st century skills such as critical thinking and team-building skills. Each season concludes with a weekend competition where our team does their best to advance to the next level. Most importantly, students appreciate the importance of failure in the learning process.
Schools and offices will be closed Apr. 26 for the Battle of Flowers holiday and will reopen Apr. 29.
