Greetings Mary Hull Parents and Community,

It is my privilege to serve as the principal of Mary Hull Elementary! My name is Patricia Noriega, and it is with great pride that I share that I am a proud John Jay graduate. Go Mustangs! I am honored to serve in Jay community , and to be given the opportunity to give back to the community that I was raised in. I am in my fourteenth year in educational leadership, and my fourteenth year at Mary Hull. Prior to becoming a principal, I had many experiences including Language Arts Facilitator, Reading Specialist, and Vice principal. Even with this, I'm always a teacher at heart, prior to coming to NISD, I taught for 15 years at Harlandale ISD. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Education from The University of Texas at San Antonio, a Master Reading Teacher certification from The University of Texas at San Antonio, a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Texas at San Antonio, and a Principalship certification form Texas A&M Kingsville. I hope to always model lifelong learning and to instill in others that we never stop learning. Learning is a part of life, and we should embrace opportunities that allow us to learn from others.

I am blessed to be the mother of four beautiful children who inspire and motivate me everyday to do my best and to be a leader that strives to ensure that children receive the best education. The journey of parenting children from elementary to college has made me a better leader. The expectations that I have for my own children are the same that I have for every child at Mary Hull. I will love every child like they are mine and I will push them to do well like they are mine . I want the best for them, I want them to excel and become productive human beings, who have ample opportunity to reach their goals and become whoever they want to be when they grow up. This is why it is my privilege to lead Mary Hull Elementary and the many talented teachers and students here!

Kind Regards
Jennifer Foley-Ventura, Associate Principal of Mary Hull Elementary

Hello, Roadrunner Family!

My name is Jennifer Foley-Ventura and I am very excited to serve as the Associate Principal of Mary Hull Elementary!

Let me tell you a little bit about myself…

I lived in New Jersey and Upstate New York before coming to Texas, and can’t imagine being anywhere else now! I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with Special Education Concentration and earned my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University in Austin, TX. This year marks the beginning of my 22nd year in education. I began my career as an Assistant at Sunshine Cottage School for Deaf Children here in San Antonio before moving to Northside ISD. I spent one year at Braun Station Elementary and then was hired as a Special Education teacher at Steubing Elementary, where I have been for the last 16 years.

I am also the mother of five children, all of whom are or were Northside students, having attended John Jay Science and Engineering Academy, John Marshall Law and Medical Services High School, Jefferson Middle School, Steubing Elementary, and Krueger Elementary.

I am honored to now also be part of the Mary Hull family and I am looking forward to working with the entire Roadrunner Community. I am committed to ensuring that all students receive a high quality education, feel safe and supported, and enjoy their time at school. I believe that partnerships between families, schools, and communities are integral in the success of students and essential for a healthy society.  My door is always open
