Solar Cars is an enrichment program for fourth and fifth grade students. The purpose is for students to work collaboratively in teams to develop engineering skills as they design and construct a working solar car model. Students must apply science knowledge and creative thinking to achieve their goal. In the end, teams compete on a Saturday for the top spot. No matter the outcome- it’s a win for all who participate.
