I am the proud principal of Mead Elementary. I first moved to San Antonio to complete my student teaching in NISD. I began my teaching career working in special education providing students with learning and behavior support. I continued my career serving multiple NISD schools as a District Behavior Specialist, a 5th grade teacher, and an Admin Intern. I served the McDermott community for 4 years as their Associate Principal.
I am so excited to serve the Mead community as your Principal and work alongside all of the amazing educators in our building. We truly believe that College & Careers begin in Kindergarten. This is not just a motto. We believe that every child that walks through the door deserves the very best education so that they can choose a college or career path that best fits each individual child.

The Associate Principal also serves as the Campus Behavior Coordinator. They can be reached by email at audrey.sifuentes@nisd.net or by phone at 210-397-1765.
I am excited to be the vice principal of Dr. Martha Mead Elementary. I have worked at Northside ISD for many years. My children are also very proud to be graduates of Northside schools.
While working at Northside I received my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from U.T.S.A. specializing in Bilingual-Bi-cultural studies. I then received my Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership from U.T.S.A. and served as the vice principal at Howsman Elementary.
My role is to support the Mead community in any way that I can. I am very happy to be part of Mead Elementary and I will work hard to facilitate a successful school year for your child!
Remember that College begins in Kinder at Mead Elementary!
