Sponsor

Meeting Time/Location
Every Thursday, September 30th - November 4th, 3:00 - 4:15

Project A.C.O.R.N. is an after school club that focuses on understanding human and natural impact on the environment through scientific inquiry and the replanting of native plants and flowers. We believe that it is important for students to know the ways our environment is damaged/affected by the choices that we as humans make, along with ways natural occurrences affect the environment. Our students will also learn about planting vegetables, flowers, herbs, and nutritious meals.  We will learn about pollinators, especially Monarch butterflies, and how they interact with our garden.  Finally, students will participate in birding by observing birds in our garden area.

We look forward to having a Community Event in the spring to showcase all the hard work of our students and sponsors!
