My name is Lauren Masters and I am going into my 8th year in education. This is my first year as an associate principal and I'm truly looking forward to making Michael Elementary my new home. Prior to joining the Michael family I was a first and second grade ESL teacher at McDermott Elementary. There I served as team leader and an instructional coach and support for new teachers.

I attended Texas State University- San Marcos, where I graduated with a bachelor of science in interdisciplinary studies with a certification in ESL education and support. I graduated with my masters in educational leadership from The University of San Antonio-Texas.

I'm looking forward to an incredible year at Michael, I can't wait to meet the students, families, and community that makes Michael the shining star that it is! My goal is that every child at Michael learns through hands-on engaging lessons that meets the scholar's needs and that the whole child is supported on a daily basis. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, comments, or concerns!
