Welcome Texans! I'm so happy to be your principal and hope I can help you and your children enjoy these middle school years. I believe all students should be given the opportunity to have a quality education and also know that positive relationships are the key to their success. Please partner with us, so we can ensure your children are successful in and out of the classroom and so we can help them grow into well-rounded individuals who are positive role models in our community.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, concerns or feedback.

About me... Prior to being the Neff principal, I was the Asst. Principal at Jones MS and the Academic Dean here at Neff. I used to teach 8th grade ELA and love reading, running and spending time with my family and friends.

I received my B.A. in Communications and a Masters in Educational Leadership from St. Mary's University. Go Rattlers!

I look forward to a great year and hope we can work together, so our students continue making great strides.

About me... I have been in education for over 20 years. My journey began as a middle school mathematics teacher. My administration journey began at Neff MS as the administrative intern. From Neff, I ventured to Jefferson MS as Assistant Principal and only to return home and fulfill my calling as Vice Principal at Neff MS. I am a proud mom of 3 young ladies and I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

I received my B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Mathematics Specialization from the University of the Incarnate Word and a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

I look forward to our journey together sharing a common vision to create a respectful, productive member of society.

Erin McKinney - Academic Dean
Welcome! I am so excited to be a part of the Texans family this year! I know how important positive relationships are in the classroom and in the community, and I look forward to building these relationships with our community. I hold the belief that every student can find success when expectations are held high and students are surrounded by support.

If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to me. Our work is too important to approach it alone.

About me... Prior to joining our Neff community, I was the 8th grade administrator at Zachry MS and then the Assistant Principal at Briscoe MS. I served students and teachers as the math department coordinator at Hobby MS and I have taught math/science classes at Jordan MS and within Hays CISD.

I attended elementary through high school within Northside ISD schools (Locke Hill, Hobby, and Clark), and I am so excited to have the opportunity to work and live in the city and district I grew up in!

I have a bachelors degree from Texas State in Math and Science Education (go Bobcats!), and I hold a masters degree and Ph.D. from UTSA in Educational Leadership (Go Roadrunners!).

I can't wait to get to know you better this year. I know we are going to have a very successful year together!
