The NISD Board of Trustees approved the instructional calendars for the 2026-27 and 2027-28 school years.
They are posted at https://www.nisd.net/schools/calendars.
Key dates include the first day of school on Aug. 10, 2026 and Aug. 9, 2027, with ending dates on May 26, 2027 and May 25, 2028. New for both years is a short fall break in October.
