As part of National Volunteer Month, the annual Partners of the Year event was held to recognize hundreds of inspiring campus volunteers and business partners who donate their time and energy to enrich the education of thousands of NISD students.
Whether they provide enrichment lessons to elementary school students, help fund field trips, provide food for students during holidays, or provide professional development opportunities to staff, these super volunteers enrich the lives of all NISD students.
District-wide winners were selected from among the campus winners. They were individually recognized at a special ceremony, and Superintendent Dr. John Craft and the Board of Trustees presented the awards.
“Our partners play a vital role in enriching student experiences, expanding opportunities, and ensuring success beyond the school walls,” said Dr. John Craft, Superintendent. “Their commitment, whether through mentorship, financial support, internships, or in-kind donations, helps bridge the gap between potential and achievement.”
