A group of NISD’s top senior football players will take the field one final time Saturday, January 10, as they compete in the San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game, marking the last high school football game of their careers.
The annual All-Star Game, which began in 1978, showcases the best high school football talent from across the San Antonio area and is designed to highlight local athletes while expanding opportunities for college scholarships. This year’s game features 118 seniors from 68 area high schools, with NISD proudly represented among the elite.
Players are nominated by their coaches and selected by a committee of broadcasters, journalists, and former coaches, making the honor a meaningful recognition of both talent and dedication.
Now held at the Alamodome, the game gives NISD seniors the chance to compete on one of the city’s biggest stages and close out their high school careers with pride. The game will be televised on CW35 and broadcast on San Antonio Sports Star 94.1 FM/1250 AM.
For NISD’s all-stars, it’s more than a game—it’s a final chance to represent their schools, teammates, and community under the Friday night lights.
