Viva Fiesta: artists win in cover contest

Northside ISD high school art students have excelled in the Battle of the Flowers Association's Battle of the Bands Cover Contest! Several talented students placed in the Top 30, showcasing their creativity and hard work. Pictures found here.

Special Recognition:

• Ezra Arizpe, a senior from Brandeis HS, achieved an impressive 3rd place and earned a $350.00 cash prize for this remarkable accomplishment. Congratulations also go to their teacher, Marcela Ramirez, who received a personal cash prize and a classroom grant for her art room at Brandeis HS!

Additional Winners:

• Gabrielle Marshall, a junior from Brandeis HS, secured 5th place and received a $200.00 cash prize.  Her teacher is also Marcela Ramirez.
