Hello OHT Owls! My name is Anna Villanueva and I am so proud to serve this community as your Associate Principal. This is my first year as an administrator and my 15th year in education. I began my teaching career in 2009 just around the corner at Leon Valley Elementary. During my time there, I taught Pre-K, Kinder, 1st and 3rd grade.
In December of 2022, I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio, in partnership with the Northside ISD Cohort #7, and obtained my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from St. Mary's University in May of 2009.
I am a mother of 2 Northside students and have been married for 10 years. I am a San Antonio native but have called many places my home. I am thrilled to make Oak Hills Terrace Elementary my new home.
I firmly believe every child can find success with the right support around them. I'm looking forward to developing partnerships with parents and families so we can support all our OHT Owls.
