October OHT Calendar

Quarterly Hoot Hut Event

Your student has been earning OHT dollars in and out of the classroom and now is their chance to cash in BIG!

Tickets will be on sale every Thursday morning for our quarterly Hoot Hut event, Halloween Bingo! Tickets are $75 OHT dollars. Students can start saving up now to buy their ticket to some spooky fun with OHT Admin.

Positive Office Referrals

You may have noticed the giant 100s chart in the hallway as you enter the school. The pictures in that 100s chart are of students who have been nominated by a staff member for a Positive Office Referral. Some of you may have already gotten that lucky phone call from Mrs. V and their child!

When a student is nominated, they receive a certificate detailing their awesomeness and you receive a phone call from Admin bragging on your kiddo. We take their picture, spin a wheel and their photo goes up on that wall!

Our goal is to reach 100 positive office referrals by the end of the year! We love to celebrate all the ways our Owls show outstanding behavior!

OHT PTA Trunk-or-Treat Candy Donation Contest

We're excited for our Annual PTA Trunk-or-Treat but we need your help! In conjunction with Student Council, we will be having a candy donation contest. 1 class per grade level with the most donated factory-sealed bags of candy will win a popsicle party!
Student Council will count the bags each week.
Donation period is from Oct. 1st to Oct. 28th.
Thank you for your support!

Birthdays at OHT

If your child will be celebrating their birthday and would like to share the fun with their class, please notify the teacher first of when you would like to bring in store-bought cupcakes, cookies, donuts, or pre-cut brownies. Birthday celebrations typically happen near the end of the day so be sure to send the items in with your child when they come in in the morning.
