In first grade at Ott Elementary, students are challenged to reach their full potential. Our instruction focuses on implementing the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. We focus on educating the whole child and provide various SEL, enrichment, and intervention opportunities for the students. We work to instill the 8 characteristics of the Ott learner profile: being creators, collaborators, innovators, leaders, learners, solution finders, critical thinkers, and communicators.
