The Lego Robotics Club introduces 4th and 5th graders to the fun and excitement of science and technology. We compete in the FIRST LEGO league. The students design, build, and program an autonomous robot (using the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® robot set) to score points on a thematic playing surface. Also, they create innovative solutions to a problem; all while being guided by the spirit of teamwork.

This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
