Today we celebrated Ansel Del Carmen, a 6th grade Gifted & Talented student who won the district-wide t-shirt design contest for the 2025 NISD GTEAC iGnite Fundraiser. His design helped raise $6,195 to support GT specialists through iGniTe grants for resources, technology, and curriculum needs. GTEAC surprised him with a prize from Raising Cane’s, and I gifted him his own shirt. Congratulations, Ansel!
