PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

It’s hard to believe we’ve already reached the end of our first grading period today! Time has truly flown by, and we’re so proud of the effort and growth our students have shown over these first nine weeks. Report cards will be available in the HAC system on Friday, October 17.

Next week marks the beginning of our second nine-week grading period, and we’re excited to keep the momentum going strong. We also hope you’ll join us for our first Family Night on Tuesday, October 21, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. It’s a great opportunity to connect, celebrate our students, and enjoy time together as a school community.

Please remember that Monday, October 13, is a student holiday. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to campus on Tuesday rested and ready to begin the new grading period.

Have a wonderful and relaxing weekend!

NISD Strong Families Conference

Rayburn is a two-time champion! At this year's annual NISD Family Engagement Conference on September 26th, 167 parents from across the district were welcomed and Rayburn led the way once again. With 37 Raider parents attending—including 5 Dads—we won the district-wide school attendance competition for having the most parents attend the conference for the second consecutive year! Thank you to our amazing Raider Parents & Caregivers for helping make our Conference a success!

A huge shout out to Mr. Masters for being a presenter this year at the conference. As a true advocate for mental health, his personal story resonated deeply with many people at his sessions. Resources were provided as well and the crucial message heard clearly was that support is available and they are not alone. If you or someone you love is going through a mental health crisis, you are not alone. Resources are available. Mrs. Diaz, 210-397-3123 martha.diaz@nisd.net
