PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Good afternoon Raiders. We had a great week of testing with the MAP Math assessment across all grade levels. I want to thank you for supporting the campus and your students by having them here on time and ready to test this past Tuesday. We had phenomenal attendance with 97% of our students present. This type of attendance not only helps students be prepared, it also helps them stay on track to be successful in the future. We have the MAP Reading test this coming Wednesday. We ask that you support your students with the same attendance that we accomplished last week, not just for that day, but for the rest of the year.
Don't forget that Monday is a holiday as we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. My challenge to our community is that we take a moment to remember what is important in life and understand that there is no accomplishment of our goals without the work and collaboration of others. At Rayburn, we strive to provide our students opportunities to build and nurture their talents in coalition with families and the community. This is our continued commitment. I hope everyone has a great weekend and we will see you on Tuesday.
