PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

As a reminder, Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6 are student holidays. We hope everyone enjoys the long weekend and has a chance to rest and recharge.

We also want to share that tomorrow, Saturday, March 28, we have two exciting events taking place. Our Love Our School Day begins on campus at 8:30 a.m., where we will be working around the school grounds to help beautify our campus. If you would like to lend a helping hand, we would love to see you there. In addition, our Esports team will be competing in a tournament at the Northside Activity Center from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We wish our students the best of luck and encourage everyone to support them if you are able.

We are also excited that soccer season officially opened this past Thursday, with both our boys and girls teams competing. We are looking forward to a great season and encourage everyone to come out and support our student-athletes.

Please remember that cash is not accepted at the gate for athletic events. All tickets must be purchased online through the Hometown Ticketing page:
https://www.nisd.net/district/athletics/high-school-tickets

Thank you for your continued support, and have a great weekend.

Battle of the Books District Competition

Our Battle of the Books team proudly represented our campus at the district competition on March 25. Their teamwork and dedication to reading were on full display. We are so proud of their effort and representing our school!

Summer Credit Advancement

Summer Credit Advancement Registration will begin on Monday March 30. This is an opportunity for our current 8th graders to receive High School Credit during the summer for either Health or Lifetime Fitness. Please take a look at the attached flyer for more information. If you have any questions please reach out to the Rayburn Counseling Department.

Guidance Lesson

Counselors will be visiting all students this week to provide a lesson focused on stress, coping strategies, and overall wellness. We hope students find this experience valuable as we move into the final nine weeks of the school year.

Thank You Community Partners!

We love our community partners! Thank you to all of our friends who do so much to support Rayburn! We had a great morning with a Thank You Breakfast Coffee Chat!
