PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
I was honored once again to be a part of the Fisher Fiesta Parade this morning. It was great to see our current Mariachi students performing, along with several of our former students out there representing with their high school groups. Events like this are always a great time, and Mrs. Quintero continues to raise the bar every year with bigger and better parades.
STAAR testing begins next Tuesday, and it’s important that our students are ready to perform at their best. Over the next few weeks, that means getting good rest, showing up on time, and staying focused. We’ve put in the work all year together, now it’s time for our students to show what they can do.
I hope everyone has a safe and happy weekend.
Great Book Giveaway 2026
Help spread the word about the upcoming Great Book Giveaway! Families are invited to visit one of two locations—Brennan High School or Holmes High School—to receive a bag of free new and gently used books for each child present, while supplies last.

Time: 5:30–7:30 PM
Who Can Attend: All families with school-aged children (Pre-K through 12th grade), including toddlers
Residency: Open to all—families do not need to live in Northside ISD
This is a great opportunity to build your child’s home library and encourage a love of reading!
