PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

We are proud to share that we have officially completed STAAR testing for this school year. While final results will not be available until the summer, we are confident that our students demonstrated true grit and determination throughout the testing process. Weโ€™ve seen their hard work all year long, and we are excited to see that effort come to fruition when scores are released.

Although STAAR testing is behind us, we are not quite finished with assessments just yet. Students will take MAP testing next Tuesday and the following Tuesday as we close out the school year. These assessments are important in helping us measure growth and plan for continued success.

As we head into the final weeks of school, we have many events and activities taking place. Please continue to review our newsletters closely so you stay up to date with all important information and opportunities to celebrate the end of the year with us.

Thank you for your continued support. Have a great weekend, and please stay safe.

SAVE THE DATE

All incoming 7th graders and freshman for the 2026-2027 school year wanting to participate in sports, must have a physical completed to try-out. Rayburn will be hosting physicals by Dr. Noche on Tuesday, May 12th from 4-5pm or until the last person is seen. The physical form was sent home with students last week Thursday. Please complete the Medical History, "Parent" side of the form and return with $20 cash if your student will be completing their physical with us. Also, emails were sent to both parents and students about downloading the SportsYou communication app. If your child is wanting to participate in sports, please be sure to download the app and join the athletic group for your student to stay updated with athletic information. This is the best way to communicate with the coaches.

Thank you Shipley's!

A big thank you to our friends at Shipley's for providing donuts for teachers & staff on a long testing day! We love Shipley's!
