Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I hope you and your family have had a wonderful summer filled with rest, fun, and special memories. Our teachers and staff are already working hard to prepare for an exciting year, and we are eager to welcome our Raptors back to campus. This year, our theme is Driven with Purpose, and we look forward to partnering with you to ensure every student grows, learns, and reaches their maximum potential.
Popsicles with the Principals
We invite all families to join us for Popsicles with the Principal on Tuesday, August 4, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity to meet campus staff, ask questions, reconnect with friends, and kick off the new school year together. Class lists will also be posted during this event.
Parent Orientation / Meet the Teacher
Our Parent Orientation/Meet the Teacher event will be held on Thursday, August 6.
Schedule:
- PK, Kindergarten–2nd Grade, ECSE, SPED, ALE, and BMC: 4:00–5:15 p.m.
- 3rd–5th Grade, SPED, ALE, and BMC: 5:15–6:30 p.m.
All families should begin in the cafeteria for a brief welcome before heading to classrooms.
Spirit Shirt Sales
Get ready to show your Raptor pride! Spirit shirts will be available for purchase during our back-to-school events.
2026–2027 Theme Shirts: $15
Previous Year Shirts: $5–$10
We will be accepting cash only. Unfortunately, we cannot accept checks. We are hoping to have our credit card system ready, and we will share an update if that becomes available.
Fast Pass & Volunteer Information
To help us maintain a safe campus, any family member who wishes to obtain a Rhodes Fast Pass must first complete the Northside ISD Volunteer & Contractor Background Check.

Completing this process now will also allow you to volunteer throughout the year for classroom parties, field trips, campus events, and other volunteer opportunities.
