Welcome to our fifth grade classrooms!

Mrs. Adams - 

Hello! My name is Mrs. Adams and I'm a 5th grade teacher. This is my 13th year in education and I've been serving the Scarborough community for 6 years now. I am looking forward to providing memorable learning experiences for your child this year! 

Mrs. Gallo - 

My name is Adriana Gallo and I'm a 5th Grade Teacher. This is my 22nd year teaching and my 15th year teaching at Scarborough. I love the campus and the community. I'm excited to have your child in my classroom this year!

Mrs. Kilz - 

Hi, my name is Ms. Kilz. I was born and raised in Denton, TX. I graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2017. This will be my 7th year of teaching and my 6th at Scarborough Elementary. I am proud to be a part of the Scarborough Huskies!

Mr. Marcos - 

My name is Oliver Marcos. I've been teaching for a long time. More than half of my teaching career has been here at Scarborough Elementary. Once a husky, always a husky.

Mrs. Mejia - 

Hi, I am Brenda Mejia and I am a 5th grade teacher at Scarborough! This is my 14th year teaching , my 6th year at Scarborough, and my 10th in 5th grade. I was born and raised in San Antonio and graduated from UTSA. I'm excited to have your child in my classroom this year! 

Ms. Taylor - 

Hi, my name is Carissa Taylor. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I graduated from UTSA in May 2023. This will be my 2nd year teaching and my 2nd at Scarborough! I am proud to be a part of the Scarborough Huskies and I'm excited to have your child in my classroom this year!

Tax Rate Notice
This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
