Unit 3: Academics in Automotive Collision and Repair (2 Weeks) - Students will learn to sign into ALLDATA and other service information websites.
-Retrieve proper OEM repair procedures for particular vehicles.
Unit 3: cont. Academics in Automotive Collision and Repair (2 Weeks) --locate, read, and interpret documents such as service and repair information, technical bulletins, specifications, schematics, and parts catalogs
Unit 4: Tools, Equipment, and Materials (1 Weeks)
-identify hand and power tools and equipment commonly used in collision repair and refinishing

Unit 5: DAMAGE assessment and repair Procedures (3 Weeks)
-basic r&i procedures -basic dent repair (Pulling,grinding,sanding, mixing of body fillers, and finishing of repair panels
Unit 6 Preparation and Masking procedures (4 weeks) -feather edge paint around the repair area. - repair surface irregularities on a damaged body panels -rough sand body filler to contour panel and finish sand for the application of primer.
Fall CCA | Unit 7: Painting (1 Week) -preparation, application, and refinishing of various paint products
Unit 8: Refinishing (3 Weeks) -finish application using appropriate spray techniques: gun arc, angle, distance, travel speed, and spray pattern overlap
-basecoat and clear coat for overall refinishing
Unit 9: Welding and Hazardous Materials (5 Weeks) -proper welding and cutting techniques and processes used in collision repair Environmentally hazardous materials and appropriate handling methods.
