Learning Objectives: • Define and describe gross domestic product, economic measures of labor, and consumer spending. • Describe and explain the phases of the business cycle, the causes of inflation and deflation, and interest rates. • Identify and discuss concerns of economic growth such as investments and borrowing by government, businesses, and consumers.
