UnderstandingsStudents will understand why they are coming to GT, learn what they will do when they come to the GT classroom, and get to know their teacher and classmates.Students will be able to brainstorm and create a large quantity of different ideas, thoughts, products, or plans to solve a given problem.Students will make inferences and draw conclusions based on valid and reliable information, and identify, analyze, and evaluate information in order to make decisions, solve problems, and set priorities based on evidence.Students will work effectively in a partnership or group. Fairly assign tasks, delegate, and respectfully and productively cooperate. Students will work independently and collaboratively while taking ownership for the quality of the product.Students will explore engineering stations and review expectations.Students will demonstrate the ability to accept failure as a part of growth. Students will persevere and successfully complete tasks in a timely manner even under adverse circumstances.
