Students understand that advocacy utilizes visual design and advertising techniques to generate interest in a cause and that tailoring informative presentations to a specific audience effectively communicates community needs.

Students understand that mission statements and elevator pitches are essential tools for inspiring action and that successful service projects depend on collaborative teams with diverse skills and clear roles.

Students understand that "deep kindness" requires addressing underlying needs rather than superficial acts and that mindfulness strategies are necessary for maintaining social-emotional well-being in a digital age.
