Students understand how to communicate pros and cons of diverse ideas to develop a plan to solve problems. Students understand, with or without background knowledge, how to demonstrate personal skills that contribute positively to an environment that encourages risk taking in generating ideas to solve a problem and persevere with plans through at least 2 iterations for an original product. Students understand that technology changes and impacts different communities while predicting how emerging technologies may impact them. Students understand how to compromise with group members in the face of frustrations due to constraints and recover from failure through reflection by continuing to seek learning opportunities.
