My name is Rene Esquivel, and it is both a privilege and honor to serve as the Principal of Tomlinson Elementary. At Tomlinson, we strive for excellence in a nurturing, innovative environment with high expectations for all.
I have a diverse background in education, having worked in various roles that have shaped my leadership style. My commitment to student success, whole-child development, and fostering a culture of inclusivity and academic excellence drives me every day. I approach each day with a "Whatever It Takes" attitude.

My name is Hannah Jackson, and I am thrilled to be a Tomlinson Trailblazer and honored to serve as your Associate Principal! I had the opportunity of helping open Tomlinson in 2021 as a teacher and am blessed to now serve in a different capacity.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from UTSA and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from UTA.
I was born in the Philippines at Clark AFB, but have called San Antonio home since 1987. Before entering the field of education, I worked as an Operations Supervisor in the financial sector. My journey in education began as a substitute teacher in NISD, serving a variety of grade levels. I later taught 1st and 4th grade at Timberwilde Elementary before joining the Tomlinson community. Every role I’ve held has deepened my love for education and my commitment to student success.
Building relationships with students, families, and staff is my passion. I strive to create a learning environment that is engaging, meaningful, and filled with moments of joy. I hold high expectations for myself and for all members of our school community so that together, we can provide a high-quality education that fosters independence and prepares our students for success. I’m excited to partner with you in making this school year one to remember!
