It is my privilege to serve the students, parents, teachers, and our wonderful Valley Hi community as your Principal.

Welcome Valley Hi Students and Parents,

I would like to introduce myself to the Valley Hi community by first explaining how grateful and excited I am to lead the Valley Hi Family. This is my 22 nd year in education (all at Northside). I spent my first nine years as a special education teacher and campus coordinator at Knowlton Elementary School. In the spring of 2013 I was fortunate enough to finish my Masters Degree program through NISD and UTSA and graciously accepted the position at Valley Hi as the administrative intern. Next, I was honored with being appointed the Vice Principal at Valley Hi. In March of 2016 I was named as the Principal of Valley Hi. There is no place I would rather be. My drive to become an administrator comes from my strong desire to leave a positive legacy of making a difference in children's lives along with the outlying community. Administration gives me the opportunity to reach hundreds of children a year in comparison to 24-26 in the classroom. I believe in the philosophy that you love students first and educate them second. You will see that reflected in our Mission Statement- "We educate with LOVE above all else"

I am from the great state of Illinois and have lived in San Antonio since 2002. I have a very dedicated wife who is also a NISD educator. I am a very Die Hard Chicago Bears Fan and I also follow the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bulls quite frequently.

Thank you for allowing me the privilege to serve the students, parents, teachers, and our wonderful Valley Hi community as your Principal.
