of Northside Independent School District for the last 20 years.
โAs a child growing up in a family of teachers, I knew that working in education was my passion. I value the importance of early literacy and strive to make a difference by helping to educate tomorrowโs decision makers. The key to our success is to develop meaningful relationships with students and families and to provide the necessary support for the most important adults on our campus โ the classroom teachers.โ

Greetings Bronco Families!
It is a true honor to serve as the Associate Principal at Westwood Terrace Elementary, a campus that has become my professional home over the past 14 years. This school year marks my 18th year in education, and I am incredibly proud to continue growing alongside the students, families, and staff of this wonderful community.
During my time at Westwood Terrace, Iโve had the privilege of teaching early childhood in a collaborative special education setting. Earlier in my career, I also taught 2nd and 4th grades at other campuses, which gave me a well-rounded perspective on student learning across different stages.
I hold a Bachelorโs degree in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-4 from the University of Texas at San Antonio (2005) and a Masterโs degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at Tyler (2024). I am also bilingual, which allows me to better connect with and support many of our students and families.
I believe that strong relationships and teamwork are the foundation of a successful school. I am committed to working alongside families and staff to create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging environment where every student can thrive.
I look forward to an exciting year ahead and to continuing the important work we do together at Westwood Terrace.
