STEAM Team Overview

The club where failure is not an option - it's a necessity!

STEAM Team is an after-school program for 3rd grade students. It is an engineering program where students work in small groups design, test, redesign, retest, and eventually create a working Rube Goldberg machine that performs a simple task. Students use science knowledge, creativity, and grit to work through each challenge.

 


Tax Rate Notice
This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
