Westwood Terrace is excited to announce our new STEM Sisters' club as an after school engineering program for Fourth and Fifth grade students.
STEM Sisters is a program that is designed to promote Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. This program's goal is to encourage female students to become more involved in these fields and ultimately follow an educational path that will lead them to a career in a STEM related field.
We meet weekly and use the interdisciplinary curriculum from the Boston Museum of Science to learn more about STEM through engaging, hands-on projects.
This program is sponsored by STEM Teacher Leslie Wogstad and Math Specialist Brenda Winters.
