• Class library visits are Days 1-4, Monday - Friday at times designated by the rotation schedule.
• Maker Space Times - Tuesday 7:15 - 7:32; Thursday 7:15 - 7:32  (Days can vary if it is my duty day)
• Parent check out times:  Monday - Thursday  7:15 - 7:30; 2:30 - 3:00  Please check-in at the office for a visitor's pass.

Mission and goal

The goal of the Allen Library Program is to provide access to current and diverse materials in order to give the students the tools necessary for self-directed learning. The library program also collaborates with staff by providing resources and instruction to support our schools curriculum and meet the needs of diverse learners. Lastly, the library is a place that fosters a love of reading. 

Parents

Parents can create a parent account simply by showing a picture id. Once the account is created, parents can check out up to 5 items at a time. Students can return parent items, but students are not allowed to check out under a parent's name without the parent being present. We set that policy to ensure that there are no surprises on the parent account.

Students

PreK, Kinder,  and 1st grade each check out one book per library visit.

2nd through 5th grade each may check out up to two books per visit.
