Erika Zagala - Principal
My name is Erika Zagala, and I am the proud principal of Jerry D. Allen Elementary. I have been at Allen Elementary since 2012, I served as vice principal here for three years and in 2015 was appointed principal. I am currently in my 17th year of education which have all been spent in Northside Independent School District. I have had the privilege of teaching in different campuses all across this district but I truly believe that Allen Elementary is the most special campus I have had the opportunity of working on. I love the commitment of the staff, the amazing families and of course the phenomenal students of this community. As an educator and principal, I strive to create a learning community with high expectations where all students are learning at high levels. Additionally, I want to provide all of our students with positive experiences that they will carry with them for a lifetime. I thank you for entrusting me and our staff with your child's safety and education and I look forward to meeting all of our families.
