About Aue Library

Welcome to the Aue Elementary Library where the goal is to inspire independent patrons who are excited to read.  The Aue Library fosters a love of reading and encourages reading independence.

Meet the Librarian!

My name is Deanna O'Marah, and I am the Aue Librarian.. I have dedicated the last 22 years of my life to education, including 17 years as a school librarian here at Aue.  I have worked to make a meaningful impact on students, staff, and the library community. Since 2019, I have proudly served as chair or co-chair of Storyfest, helping bring stories to life for young readers. My professional involvement includes serving on the Texas Library Association (TLA) planning committee for the 2016 and 2020 conferences, as well as presenting at local, regional, and state levels.  I am passionate about sharing ideas, building community, and championing the role of libraries in education.
