Mission Statement

The mission of our elementary library is to create a welcoming and inclusive space where every student feels a sense of belonging, sees themselves and their cultures represented, and discovers the stories and perspectives of others. Through diverse literature, meaningful learning experiences, and opportunities for exploration, we empower students to grow as readers, learners, and members of a diverse community.

Vision Statement

Our vision is for the library to be the heart of our school—a place where every student feels seen, valued, and represented. We envision a community of curious, compassionate, and confident learners who celebrate their own identities and cultures while developing an appreciation and respect for the experiences and perspectives of others.
