Mission Statement
The mission of our elementary library is to create a welcoming and inclusive space where every student feels a sense of belonging, sees themselves and their cultures represented, and discovers the stories and perspectives of others. Through diverse literature, meaningful learning experiences, and opportunities for exploration, we empower students to grow as readers, learners, and members of a diverse community.
Vision Statement
Our vision is for the library to be the heart of our school—a place where every student feels seen, valued, and represented. We envision a community of curious, compassionate, and confident learners who celebrate their own identities and cultures while developing an appreciation and respect for the experiences and perspectives of others.
Before School 7:20am-7:40am
Students may visit the library before school with a library pass for book check out, checkers, and puzzles. Students in grades K-1 may visit with an adult. Students in grades 2-5 may visit the library before school hours with a pass. Students are encouraged to clean up and leave the library at 7:40am to be on time for class.
