Rachel Delgado - Principal
Greetings Behlau families! My name is Rachel Delgado, and I am proud to be the Principal of Behlau Elementary School, home of the Bulldogs! I was born and raised in East Chicago, Indiana, which is about 30 minutes away from Chicago. I attended Purdue University Calumet, and Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I moved to San Antonio 2002 where I began working for Northside Independent School District. I taught 3rd and 4th grades at Cable Elementary for 7 years. I attended The University of Texas San Antonio and received a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership in 2009. I then helped to open Langley Elementary in 2009 as a 4th grade teacher. I became the Vice Principal of Langley in 2011 and was there for another 4 years. I then had the great pleasure to become the Principal of Lieck Elementary. I was at Lieck for 5 years.

My family includes my husband Joe, our daughters Ava and Emma, and our dog, Rocky. We live close to the Behlau community so you may see me in the neighborhood!

I am passionate about helping students reach their potential, along with teachers and parents. I believe that all students can achieve at high levels by ensuring to support students social, emotional, and academic needs. I am excited about working with the students, staff, and families at Behlau to make it a caring and supportive learning environment for all!

Hello Bulldog Families! My name is Nicole Wall and I am thrilled to serve as your Associate Principal at Behlau. I received my bachelors in education from the University of Miami and began my education career 16 years ago as a first grade teacher in Florida. When we moved to Texas in 2013, I continued my education at the University of North Texas, where I completed my masters in educational leadership. Since then, I have taught first and fifth grade, been an instructional coach, a literacy specialist, and most recently the associate principal at Passmore Elementary. I am excited to continue my career serving the great families here at Behlau.

My family includes my husband, Preston, my three children, Kinsley, Casen, and Carrigan, and our dog, Nando. Like Mrs. Delgado, we live close to the Behlau community, so you may see us around!

I believe in high expectations for all students and love that I get the privilege to work alongside a great community of parents, teachers, staff, and students, where together we can foster a love of learning in all our students. I am excited for the year ahead and watching our Bulldogs learn and grow every day!
