2026 Spring Semester Exemption Policy
A student enrolled in courses earning high school credit (full-year or semester) may be exempt from the 2026 spring semester exam if the following criteria are met:
1. For the Spring 2026 semester, the student has three or fewer absences (see criteria below) from January 6, 2026, to May 21, 2026, excluding school business absences;
2. The student’s final average for the spring semester is 80 or higher;
3. The student’s conduct grade in that class is satisfactory or better; and
4. The student is in attendance during the scheduled exam time.
Please note: Excused absences (EADN or EAPN), unexcused absences (UA), and medical waivers (MW) WILL count towards the three or fewer absences criterion. School business absences (ESB), Health absences (H), and the two Senior College Visit days will not impact exam exemption eligibility.
** A student who is eligible for exemptions may take the exam if desired.
**Students enrolled in the following courses must take their semester exams: Dual Credit, On Ramps, College Prep Math, and College Prep English.
