    Assistant Principal

I'm thrilled to return to the Brennan family as an Assistant Principal. Throughout my career in education, I have served as a high school English teacher, middle school Gifted & Talented Specialist, Campus Testing and 504 Coordinator, and Campus Programs Coordinator at a magnet high school. These diverse experiences have strengthened my commitment to supporting students, empowering teachers, and building strong school communities.

As a first-generation college graduate, I believe deeply in the power of education and lifelong learning. I've earned certifications in English, Speech, Reading, Dance, Principalship, and Superintendency, demonstrating my dedication to personal and professional growth. I also serve as a presenter for Organizational Staff Development in NISD, where I enjoy welcoming and mentoring new teachers, parents, and students as they begin their journey in the district.

Outside of school, I consider my greatest accomplishment to be being a mom to my amazing son. Together, we participate in monthly 5K races and are co-authoring a children's book series that celebrates and supports children navigating two-household families. Our first book is titled I Have Two Houses.

I'm passionate about creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where every student and staff member feels valued, supported, and inspired to succeed. I'm excited to partner with the Brennan community and look forward to making a meaningful impact.

    Assistant Principal

    Welcome from Bear Country!!!

I am honored to continue my journey as a campus leader at William J. Brennan High School as your new assistant principal. After serving as the Student Success Advisor for Advanced Academics since the Fall of 2022, I began transitioning into this new leadership role in March 2026.

My roots in education and this community run deep. I am a proud graduate and former Class President of John Jay High School, where I also later returned to serve in the Department of Social Studies from 2013 to 2022. Over my career in education, I have spent many years as a classroom teacher across Texas, including stints at Richardson ISD's Lake Highlands High School (recognized as a Top 100 High School in the Nation 1999) and Medina Valley ISD. During my time at Medina Valley High School, I was honored as the 2001 KENS-5 Excel Teacher of the Year and coached back-to-back UIL Academic State Championship Current Issues & Events Teams in 2004 and 2005.

I hold a Bachelor and Master of Arts in Political Science from St. Mary's University right here in San Antonio, as well as a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis in Instructional Technology from Houston Baptist University.

When I am away from Brennan, I love traveling, listening to music, and cheering on my favorite sports teams. I'm a massive sports fanโ€”especially when it comes to baseballโ€”so you can always catch me rooting for the Houston Astros, Texas Longhorns, Dallas Cowboys, and of course, our San Antonio Spurs!

I am thrilled to bring my passion for student success, instructional technology, and academic excellence into this new role. Let's make it a great year!
