  • Students will spend approximately 2 sessions each time learning about, designing, and testing each type of flying object.
  • Students will learn about kites, parachutes, paper airplanes, and/or rockets.
  • Sometimes teachers prefer to hold this course over 4 weeks and meet twice a week. This is an approved format.

This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
