Principal of Cable Elementary, Debra Piñon
Debra Piñon - Principal
Greetings Parents and Families of Cable Elementary,

My name is Debra Piñon and it is my privilege and honor to serve as the Principal of Cable Elementary. I am excited to establish a strong learning culture with our community of learners and families and I look forward to an exciting time of learning and growing with our students. I am also delighted to be working with our fabulous professional faculty/staff and you, our parents and community members.

I have had the honor to serve Northside as a teacher and I have served as an administrator for the last 16 years. I began my teaching career in the fall of 1990 as a third grade teacher with North East Independent School District. After moving to Northside ISD, I taught for several years in first, second, third and fourth grade classrooms. My administrative experience has been shaped by three years of successful leadership as the Vice Principal and seven years as the Principal of Hatchett Elementary. Four years ago, I was bestowed the privilege of opening Herbert G. Boldt Elementary. This task was truly a labor of love. I am elated to bring my skills as an educational leader to Cable Elementary.

My greatest initiative is to provide the leadership that will facilitate a school environment that will provide differentiated instruction to all and meet the needs of each individual student. The instructional program will be academically challenging, engaging for each student by linking the curriculum to previous knowledge and experience, and at a level, that promotes further exploration of new and challenging ideas.

I anticipate a most successful year as our faculty/staff and I support the academic, social and emotional growth of your child here at Cable Elementary.

As Principal, my door will always be open and I welcome your involvement at Cable Elementary. Please feel free to stop in to discuss any concerns, suggestions, or ideas to help make this the best school ever!
I look forward to working with all of you as we work towards establishing an academically successful elementary school!

Respectfully,
Debra Piñon, Principal

Hello Cable Cubs! ¡Hola los Cachorros de Cable!

My name is Laura A. Galindo and I am the Associate Principal of Cable Elementary!

I began my career teaching third grade at John Glenn Elementary, and then moved to Adams Hill Elementary where I taught fourth grade for 10 years! I absolutely loved teaching and enjoyed every minute of it! My educational journey finally brought me to the wonderful Cable elementary as the administrator intern where I was able to gain valuable knowledge on becoming an associate principal. I was honored to receive the position this year as the AP and learning from our principal, Mrs. Pinon.

In my spare time, I enjoy shopping, hanging out with family and friends, and taking care of my two doggies, Lola and Bruno.

I am so excited and grateful to work with our Cable Cubs and be a part of this amazing community!

Laura A. Galindo, Associate Principal
