STEM Education in Northside ISD
Northside ISDโs STEM Education program provides students with hands-on, real-world learning experiences that integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through inquiry-based instruction, problem solving, and design thinking, students develop critical thinking and collaboration skills that prepare them for future academic and career success.
At the elementary level, each campus has a dedicated STEM lab where students participate in activities and design challenges that spark curiosity and creativity using knowledge from classroom instruction and tied to a variety of STEM careers.

The integration of these subjects provides opportunities for students to relate these concepts to real-life scenarios. Students will be challenged to think outside the box to make viable solutions to real-world problems. STEM education encourages students to think critically, increases ingenuity, and paves the way for future innovators.

Your student attends STEM class as part of their Discovery rotation, once a week for forty-five minutes.
