Ms. Hallam began working for Northside ISD in 2006. She taught for 11 years in NISD and SAISD. She moved into administration in 2016 with NISD and worked in several middle schools as well as the Reddix Center before joining the Connally team.
Erica grew up here in San Antonio and attended Northside schools where her love of learning began. She attended UTSA for undergraduate studies in Multiple Disciplinary Sciences and earned teacher certification in 4-8 Science. She earned her master’s degree in Educational Leadership and principal certification from Lamar University.
Aside from being a principal and teacher, Ms. Hallam loves watching sports with her 3 boys and enjoying the great outdoors. She values collaboration and is excited to partner with the Connally staff, students and community this school year to accomplish great things for our Coyotes!
Before working in administration, Cassaundra taught ELA and Social Studies at the secondary level. After serving as an educator in the classroom, Cassaundra spent three years writing curriculum for NISD in the area of Secondary Social Studies and developed district wide professional development and trainings for teachers, campus leaders, and administrators.
Besides her work as a campus administrator, Cassaundra enjoys facilitating the drumline club where students of all abilities are welcome to come and learn how to play cadences and prepare for performances weekly. Cassaundra also spends time every week volunteering at her local church working in the Creative department.
