Clubs
Once a Month on a Friday, 4pm-4:45pm in A204
We strive to build morale within our students, teachers, and staff. We focus on coordinating events/functions based on students interests to encompass our entire school community.
NJHS is an organization that recognizes and encourages academic achievement among middle school students while also developing other characteristics essential to elevate the culture of our community through scholarship, service, leadership, citizenship, and character. All NJHS students demonstrate a commitment to these core values. Throughout the school year, NJHS supports students through various resources to help them develop their leadership skills, cultivate a love of giving back to our community, and prepare them for the next phase in their academic journey and beyond.
Induction to NJHS is open annually to all qualifying seventh-grade and eighth-grade students. Notices are given directly to the student, and the decision is made between them and their family. Intramurals
Introduced in 1992, the Northside ISD Intramural Program is an after-school opportunity for students at all middle schools and Health Careers High School to enjoy recreational activities through organized sports and tournaments, at no cost to families.
The 28-day program runs from November through March and is led by campus teachers. Each campus develops and shares its schedule prior to the start of the season.
