News Broadcasting Crew

Galm News Broadcasting Crew is in charge of producing and broadcasting the morning news. 5th graders serve as anchor that learn to work a teleprompter, microphones, and record using broadcasting equipment.

This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
