District Services

Northside ISD provides valuable services for families and students in support of children's education. 

  • Military Families - Led by the efforts of school counselors, NISD school communities work diligently to support military families and address their unique educational challenges.
  • McKinney Homeless Connections - Northside Independent School District is dedicated to the education of all children. Because of this, Northside ISD has developed the CONNECTIONS Program to provide services to students and families experiencing homelessness, so that children can attend school and achieve success.  
  • Free/Reduced Lunches - Free and reduced-price meals are available for children under current income eligibility guidelines.

Tax Rate Notice
This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
